First, we must recognize the duality that Suárez possesses as a hitter.
He is not what you would call a "hit machine." Instead, his career is painted in extreme contrasts. There are times when he falls into deep slumps, like going "five for 52," leaving fans scratching their heads. At the plate, he can look lost, his bat cutting through empty air.
But do not be deceived. That silence is merely the calm before the storm.
Once the fire is lit, it spreads like an uncontrollable wildfire. As the announcers say, "They come in bunches." He suddenly begins mass-producing home runs. Remember the explosive start to the 2025 season? Four home runs in the first three games—a historic first for the Diamondbacks franchise.
