The movement of Japanese players in the international market is also top news this offseason.
It has been formally announced that two players, Yomiuri Giants slugger **Kazuma Okamoto** and Saitama Seibu Lions ace **Kona Takahashi**, have entered the MLB market using the Posting System.
Okamoto is drawing keen interest from many MLB teams as a slugger who combines top-tier slugging power with infield versatility, while Takahashi is regarded as a starter rotation option with excellent command. Both players have entered a 45-day negotiation period to finalize their contracts.
